Kaworu is sick today. Really, really, really damn sick. Yoite is not around at this time; if he was, Kaworu would find a way to suck it up. He could, really, he could. (That is a lie and Yoite has already seen him ill a multitude of times.)

It's a fever today, 102.5. If he cared that much, he would worry about it. After all, it's near the rejection threshold and it really is not normal. But he knows how to fake a lower temperature if he needs to and he can get control of this easily. He just... needs to be able to leave the bathroom, first. Throwing up did not happen before he was a lilim and he finds the whole process to be distasteful.

Truth be told he likes the fevers. He hallucinates then, he sees those he left behind.

He'll die for those chances, if he needs to.

....well. Wasn't this a predicament.

He flushes the toilet yet again and sits against the wall, reaching over to unlock the bathroom door. Somehow, he thought to lock that door, but not the other.

Strange, the logic that occurs at times like this.

Kaworu does not really have to answer, he knows that was loud enough to give Akito a sign.

His hair is curling up in odd places from a lack of want to attack it into behaving today; he is still in sleepwear, boxers and a wifebeater. It feels too hot for even those, but there is a matter of decorum, after all.

"...thanks," he says, because he knows that Akito would have put effort into finding out what was going on before arriving.

Kaworu did not want to see Yoite nearly setting the room on fire by accident again, after all.

And yes, he will submit with the drink. After all, Akito has not gone wrong yet.

Fff. One of Kaworu's weakest spots, when it comes to pleasant interaction, is his hair. He used to let it get all a'mess when he was younger, merely so that someone would have to fix it for him. 'Really, are we just going to have to cut all of this off?' A threat nobody ever followed up on, except for he himself, taking random chops when he was thirteen and angry. Unfortunately, you could still tell if you paid attention.

"Perhaps once, but it must have been a hallucination, as it is conflictingly confusing otherwise, I was not an apostle, hardly worthy of it."

That statement makes sense. In his head.

"But it is not fine," Kaworu says. He tries to sit up more in whatever way he can manage. "I am not going to be an angel of death again, ruin you - "

...stress was only going to - was Akito under the illusion that he spent even one moment of any of his days stress-free? But Kaworu doesn't have the energy to point this out.

He runs a hand through his hair, just messing it all back up again. "Well," he says, "I suppose I'll in out what it is like if you are ever ill again."

Kaworu laughs in an o sort of way. "Wow,I am never going to be good at anything that needs to be obvious~" He hums a little. "Someone came around today~ It was a child and he said strange things. Parts having meaning, meaning having parts. Kinda like Rei and I! There's too many parts. How can I say anything if I have too many parts?"

"I never told you about Rei, that's bad. You think Shinji's the top of my list and he's not. He's bottom barrel but I listen to him anyway I think I'm masoch -- masa -- masochistic. He didn't even like me until he could kill me. Then he just got it screwy, the bastard."
