The ice slips into her mouth immediately assaulting the burned parts, making her feel a bit better. But she's much too focused on the feel of his lips against her own. Her eyes are wide open and she's looking directly at him, confused as hell.
Eventually it occurs to her to pull away and cover her mouth, as if he might try something like that again.
