Kaworu is feeling almost better from the last bout of being sick. He is seriously considering his medication at this point - it's not as if it affects him either way, but it's sure as hell affecting Akito and Yoite. Why he still can't understand why anyone would hold even a thought, let alone affection for him, he's never questioned it. That would be really stupid.

He's still too weak to even imagine the idea of going downstairs to order it, so he'll wait until tomorrow. After all, nobody knew he was supposed to still be taking them. He can just pretend that he was put back on the pills and injection.

Kaworu is laying on his bed reading, but he really has no idea what. He's more busy keeping an out to see if Yoite manifests today. He likes his days best when Yoite does. Of course, somehow he manages to fall asleep doing this - apparently not reading a book is tiring - but Kaworu will wake up when he needs to. He has faith in this!

"To what?" He doesn't get it.

Kaworu laughs. "I have no idea. You just sounded sad."

"I don't know why I'm sad. I think it's the way your eyes look."

"How do they look?"

He does not know them to be anything but neutral. But he has not looked in a mirror since he was eleven. He does not like them at all.

"They ought to, since it's true."

He always wonders what Yoite's eyes would show, but while you can look well enough, you never get the full picture. The hat protects him from others seeing that.

"I was fated to live forever. But I took ahold of my own fate, not caring for the future. No one else cared for it either."

Perhaps he ought to ask the bar for more space.

"It feels like... like it felt to taste things before I died." He's grasping for words. "Like there's- an absence of something."

"When you are alive again," not if not maybe, "I will bring you all the food that you wish for."

Yoite did, after all, deserve to be spoiled.

"But you can sit, can't you? Sit with me."

"Why do you say that?" Yoite does sit, though there's no pressure on the mattress. He ignores that.

"Ah, why do I say which?"

His eyes are bright now, with the new proximity. Kaworu will not hide emotions around Important People anymore.It never got you anywhere.

"That I'll be 'alive.'" As if the idea is a novelty. Perhaps he still wasn't used to considering himself as such when he died.

"I am alive," Kaworu says. "The bar always has a reason for what she does. When she feels the time is right, you will have a body again as well."

He smiles slightly, looking at the floor. "What would you do first?"

"Eat lots of food." He says this with a serious face, of course. "I ate very much when I was alive. Yukimi's fault, but he cooked a lot when I needed it."

A pause.

"I- Will I still see?"

"She fixed all of my wounds. I am sure that your senses will stay."

Otherwise Kaworu would be worse than Tiny Tim, here.

"I'll see, and taste, and when I touch things it won't be cotton."

"What sort of things will you touch?" Kaworu draw his legs onto the bed, hugging them with his arms. But he is looking at Yoite, nothing could stop him from looking at Yoite right now.

"Soft things. Warm things. Those are good sensations." He doesn't feel like he's being examined, or judged. Kaworu's stare is sort of nice.

"They are," Kaworu agrees. "I discovered real cooking a few months ago - not eating most of it, just aware that it exists."

Except cookies. They are his ulimate weakspot.
